Night Notes: A Napa Fourth

Fourth of July week always hits different in hospitality. The inbox fills before I’ve finished my coffee, and everyone wants something. A last-minute suite. A vineyard tour at golden hour. So I cleared the decks early. Logged out before the last guest request landed. Told her I’d handle dinner if she handled the vibe. By 6:00 p.m. we were home. By 7:00 p.m. I had the grill going.
